My First Day at TRU

Well, I drove fifty miles to the store I'm going to work at, and was told that I needed to go to another store instead. It seems the training manager's wife just had a baby.. so off I went.

I spent most of the day watching training DVDs....... the info was of the type consisting of:

"Use spell checking in emails"
"Don't use abbreviations only you understand"

Then I found out we were sold out of the Dale Sr. box set. I was crushed.

Tomorrow I get to do it all over again.

Coming home there were cicadas everywhere. I pretended I was piloting a B-24, and they were anti aircraft fire.

Oh yeah - we seem to have lucked out in the middle TN area and the cicadas haven't emerged. They "experts" say it is doubtful they will emerge (now these are the same experts that said there was no chance in hell that we would miss them emerging)
